Typeface Design

I created this typeface project as part of my typography course. The assignment was to choose an existing typeface and create a new variation of it.

I chose to work with Motter Ombra because I really liked its strong contrasts and circular serifs. For my redesign, I decided to move away from circular forms and instead build the typeface using square-based shapes.
